Hilarious Fun With Preston Pig
I always enjoy sharing stories about Preston Pig, the cheeky character created by Colin McNaughton with his distinctive outfit of pink stripey dungarees and blue baseball cap. In ‘Ssh! Don’t Tell Mr Wolf’ the interaction is made especially thrilling because of the lift-the-flap book design.
In this adventure Preston is playing hide and seek with his arch-enemy, Mr Wolf. The Nursery and Reception classes at Northleigh Primary School in Malvern shrieked with laughter as the pair cavorted about, showing absolutely no sympathy for poor Mr Wolf who accumulated multiple injuries along the way.
After reading the story a second time with their teacher, I was delighted to receive these wonderful drawings from the children. Scroll down to appreciate these talented young illustrators - parents should be very proud.
