An Interview with Elisa Peacock

The Letterpress Project has asked authors and illustrators to think about what has inspired them as artists, what their favourite books are and how they relate to their audience - we've also asked them if they themselves are book collectors.

We are delighted to present an exclusive interview with author, Elisa Peacock. Elisa is a children's author and picture books are her first love, but she also writes junior fiction. By day she teaches in primary schools, by night she writes stories. A bit like a superhero – she wishes!

She's never won an award, but writing is its own reward, as it helps to calm her chattering mind. When not teaching or writing, she can usually be found making up silly, book related songs.

Originally a London lass, she now lives with her partner and fur family, in a small Kent village you've probably never heard of. Elisa is obsessed with time travel. She hopes that one day, it might help her to arrive at places on time.
