An Interview with Karen McCombie
The Letterpress Project has asked authors and illustrators to think about what has inspired them as artists, what their favourite books are and how they relate to their audience - we've also asked them if they themselves are book collectors.
We are delighted to present an exclusive interview with author, Karen McCombie. Karen is the bestselling author of over 90 books for children and teenagers including the Carnegie Medal-nominated Little Bird Flies, How to be a Human, and the series St Grizzle’s School for Girls. Karen is also the author of the bestselling and much-loved series Ally’s World. Originally from Scotland, she now lives in London with her family who all give her inspiration for her books, whether they like it or not.
