An Interview with Hannah Marks
The Letterpress Project has asked authors and illustrators to think about what has inspired them as artists, what their favourite books are and how they relate to their audience - we've also asked them if they themselves are book collectors.
We are delighted to present an exclusive interview with the children's author, Hannah Marks. Hannah is a self-taught illustrator and designer living in Hertfordshire, UK. She's worked on several projects including a children's book app for Android and iOS platforms, education books, adult colouring books and picture books of which 'Hamster Sitter Wanted' is her first illustrated picture book to be published in the UK - right now she's working on a picture book for Penguin's Dial Books. Hannah also designs greetings cards and patterns for the licensing market.
