An Interview with Joanna Nadin

The Letterpress Project has asked authors and illustrators to think about what has inspired them as artists, what their favourite books are and how they relate to their audience - we've also asked them if they themselves are book collectors.

We are delighted to present an exclusive interview with the children's author Joanna Nadin.  Joanna is a former broadcast journalist and special adviser to the Prime Minister. Since leaving politics Joanna Nadin has written more than seventy books for children and teenagers, including the award-winning Penny Dreadful series, the bestselling Rachel Riley diaries, the Flying Fergus series with Olympic champion Sir Chris Hoy, and the Carnegie-nominated Joe All Alone, which is currently being adapted for television. She continues to freelance as a speech-writer and lectures in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University.
