An Interview With Jonathan Emmett
The Letterpress Project has asked authors and illustrators to think about what has inspired them as artists, what their favourite books are and how they relate to their audience - we've also asked them if they themselves are book collectors.
We are thrilled to present an exclusive interview with children's author and designer of pop-up books, Jonathan Emmett. Jonathan has written over fifty children’s books and his work has been translated into over 30 different languages. As well as writing picture books such as Bringing Down the Moon, Someone Bigger, The Princess and the Pig and Ruby Flew Too. His books have won several awards including the Red House Children’s Book Award for Pigs Might Fly and the Sheffield Children's Book Award for The Pig's Knickers.
