An Interview with Susanne Heitz
The Letterpress Project has asked authors and illustrators to think about what has inspired them as artists, what their favourite books are and how they relate to their audience - we've also asked them if they themselves are book collectors.
We are delighted to present an exclusive interview with the illustrator, Susanne Heitz. Susanne was born in Germany but has spent much of her life in the Caribbean. She trained at the Hochschule for Fine Art and Design in Hannover, Germany, her love of nature and vibrant colours are key elements in her work. She lives in Dominica, Barbados and Germany.
