An Interview With Camilla Chester

The Letterpress Project has asked authors and illustrators to think about what has inspired them as artists, what their favourite books are and how they relate to their audience - we've also asked them if they themselves are book collectors.

We are delighted to present an exclusive interview with the children's author, Camilla Chester. Camilla  writes for 8-12s. Her debut, Jarred Dreams, was shortlisted by the National Literacy Trust in the 2015 New Author Prize and her second book, EATS, was shortlisted in the 2017 Winchester Children’s Funny Fiction Prize. Camilla is an active member and volunteer of the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCWBI). A devoted animal lover, Camilla also runs a small dog walking business and often has as many school visit questions about her dogs as her books! Look out for  Thirteenth Wish: Camilla’s third book, due out at the end of April 2018.
