An Interview With Erika McGann

The Letterpress Project has asked authors and illustrators to think about what has inspired them as artists, what their favourite books are and how they relate to their audience - we've also asked them if they themselves are book collectors.

We are delighted to present an interview with the children's author, Erika McGann. Erika grew up in Drogheda and now lives in Dublin. Her debut novel, The Demon Notebook, won the Waverton Good Read Children’s Award 2014. She wrote three more novels in that series before moving on to a new series, Cass and the Bubble Street Gang, for younger readers. Her latest book, Making Millions, was selected as the Dublin UNESCO Citywide Read 2018.
