Inspiring Young Readers

Karen, The Letterpress Project's Director, visited Key Stage one children at Greenfield Primary School in Stourbridge to talk about her collection of Red Riding Hood books ( link to event write up).

While she was there she showed the children lots of different ways illustrators have drawn the wolf in the Red Riding Hood Story:

She then delivered a letter on behalf of Mr Wolf who wasn't that happy about how he is sometimes depicted. He invited them to draw a picture that might be more flattering and here are some of the results which he really liked:
